Scott County Master Gardeners Association Fall Meeting - October 3 - 5:30 pm
The fall meeting of the Scott County Master Gardeners is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3 in the Scott County Extension Office at 5:30 pm.
A draft agenda is attached to this email. As you will see, I would like to have a two-part education section prior to the business meeting. The first part will be where we can bring our favorite gardening tool or supply to show the group. The second part of the education segment will be an overview of a proposed information and communication tool for us.
A section has been added to the agenda for committee reports so any group can have an opportunity to report success or provide opportunities to volunteer.
The major focus of the meeting is perennial swap on Saturday, October 7. Mary will have some information for us to prepare for the day.
If you have not already done so, please consider signing up to prepare an article for the Georgetown News-Graphic. Sharon and Molly will have more information at the meeting.

Kentucky Master Gardener Conference
The Kentucky Master Gardener Conference is being held at Harold Benson Research and Demonstration Farm, 1525 Mills Lane, Frankfort, KY 40601. The theme of this year's conference is "The Ecology of Backyard Gardens" and the keynote speaker is Dr. Patrick McMillan who will be presenting on underutilized native plants and their roles in creating healthy garden ecosystems.
